Archon Combine is a lot of things to a lot of different people. To a Personal Trainer, it’s the one thing they’ve had missing from their armoury in their war against fitness. It tells them everything they need to know about their clients so that they can give them feedback, design the perfect program, create accurate benchmarks, structure goals, produce real results based training and is perfect for online training. It’s the ultimate support for your business.
For fitness enthusiasts, it’s the way to discover your own strengths and weaknesses, set realistic goals and achievable targets for your training. It allows you to learn from the best, create friendly competition and most importantly interact with likeminded people. The main aim will be to give you the information that you need in order to hit a personal best not only once, but also time after time.
You are what your record says you are
In Archon you will receive scores for your assessments and as such these will represent your performance within that particular assessment, so essentially you are what your record says you are. You often hear a team that has 2 wins and 14 losses argue that they could just as easily be 8 and 8 rather than 2-14 due to bad luck, injuries, missed opportunities etc. Ultimately though everyone has to deal with the same things in life and so if your 2 and 14, you’re 2 and 14.
If your score is in the 80’s and verified then there’s a pretty good chance that you have been training for a while or the movement is one you have practised, a lot, over a significant amount of time. This is the good news. The bad news is that you won’t have as far to go and progress will be much slower and considerably harder than those starting in the 20’s.
Wherever you are on your journey your Archon Combine assessment score is likely to reflect that and give you the information you need to structure what sort of training is best for you to do in order to improve.
A team that was 2 and 14 last year can often make a huge turnaround in a year to a team that wins the division sporting a record of 10 wins and only 6 losses. It took time, consistency, practice but most of all an awareness of what they needed to do to improve and play better.
